Thanks for stopping by and checking out our story. I look forward to helping you unlock your potential! Before we get started, I would love to tell you a little bit about my family, my coaching philosophy and myself.

Our crew encompasses six kiddos, and two pups! We have our hands full, but our hearts are over-flowing! Being a mother, and a step-mother, is the greatest gift. We have been blessed many times over! My family always comes first and everything I do is centered around them. I could not imagine anything different, and I am so very grateful for each and every one of them! I could go on and on all day about my fam, but I will stop! LOL I'll leave it at this... have you heard the song below by Nichole Nordeman? If not, please go check it out... After you get yourself together, you can come back to my story.

Why do I focus so much on creating a better version of myself and helping others do the same? Because we don't get to slow down... we don't get to stop time. We get one shot at this folks and I don't know about you, but I am going to cherish each amazing day!

I have always enjoyed athletics. At a young age, I got involved in dance, swimming and softball. Eventually, I went on to coach a 5A school spiritline, was a lifeguard supervisor, taught swim lessons, led aerobics classes and was a camp instructor for the NCA (National Cheerleaders Association). I was also a professional cheerleader in the NFL for 4 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, and went on to help the girls on the field for two seasons afterwards as a sideline coach.

After my work with the Arizona Cardinals, I traveled overseas working for the government with the Armed Forces Entertainment to entertain and bring morale to our troops after 9/11. Our tours were amazing! We met the most inspiring people! We traveled to bases in Egypt, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, Honduras, Guantanamo Bay, Qatar, Puerto Rico and Baghdad. During my tours, we participated with the military during their morning fitness training. What a challenging and inspiring way to get fit! It felt so great to get up early and train outdoors. I wanted to share my experience with other women and did just that by creating Boot Camp Babes.

Another huge motivation behind creating BCB was to find a place that women could workout and bring their babies. And I don't mean work out with them, that was too distracting. I wanted to create a space that their kiddos were happy and occupied, so they could get in some much needed adult time and collaborate with other like-minded women. My baby boy, Ryder, was a tiny infant at the time, and being a first time mom, I did not at all like the thought of taking him to a dirty, enclosed daycare at a gym. Plus, I had gained a lot of weight for the first time in my life from the pregnancy and was totally intimidated by all of the fit gym go-ers. No thank you!

BCB was also created during my mother's battle with breast cancer, the down-turned economy and my own fight against weight gain and postpartum depression. I needed an outlet, and that is when Boot Camp Babes was born! I was honored shortly after the company's launch as one of the Arizona Republic's Top Entrepreneurs, 35 & Younger. Many of my clients have gained such a love for fitness at camp that they went on to pursue their own fitness certifications, participated in NPC bikini competitions and created and began successful fitness businesses! I am very proud of and grateful for the gift I have been given to inspire and lead others. It is what drives me!

My life, just like yours, is a little bit crazy... My girlfriends have told me for years to write a book because my life is unbelievable.. and not always in a good way! I understand that life is messy, plans are never perfect and things get thrown at you just when you least expect them. (Not that my Type-A personality enjoys the non-structure AT ALL! LOL)

Working on ourselves, our whole self and not just the physical fitness, is what is key to finding balance. So much about being fit stems from our emotional health and well-being. Our minds are a very powerful tool that many take for granted. I have countless clients come to me feeling frustrated, exhausted and defeated after trying every new diet and fitness fad, and/or the latest hype. Guess what? None of that is going to work. It may give you a quick fix, but I guarantee you will be let down when you stop doing whatever "it" is. Both emotionally and physically!

Let me help you break this pattern and LIVE. Be FREE from thinking about every bite of food, guilty if you miss a workout, being a slave to the scale, and feeling just plain upset when you look in the mirror. I always preface,

"Everything comes back to self-confidence. Self-confidence is the key in achieving any goal... it is the foundation of our happiness... it is knowing you can do something instead of hoping you can... without it, you set yourself up to fail, period."

Lack of self-confidence affects every aspect of your life and it is an essential component to fitness. I am willing to bet it is something that we all have struggled with at some point in our life. I have been there too, and I get it! I challenge you to dig deep and once and for all unlock your full potential. Reach your goals, whatever they may be. Only you hold the key to your success. There is no easy way to make big changes happen in your life. YOU have to decide and put in the effort. No one can do that for you. The key is starting with confidence my friends. YOU can do this.. and I will be with you, every step of the way!

XO, Andrea Kaye

Meet My Director, Heather Malloy 🙂

Heather Malloy with Boot Camp Babes

Hi! I’m Heather and I am Andrea’s first ever Boot Camp Babe!

When I first saw a flyer for Boot Camp Babes in the fall of 2009, I was so excited to have a place I could go work out with other women that were empowering each other and be able to take my kiddos knowing they were in good hands while I was “Sweating like a Girl”. Since that first camp, I'm grateful to say that I have made lifelong friendships with the women in camp!

I know the battle all too well of being out of shape and being overweight. Andrea’s workouts changed my body and her wisdom changed my mind. She is so encouraging and supportive and will never let you give up on yourself. With her help, I found a new love for fitness that to this day has stayed with me. Very soon after starting Boot Camp Babes, she asked me to help her with the behind the scenes business as her Director and I eagerly accepted. It is so rewarding to be able to help women in this journey of health and fitness.

Today, 8 years later, here we are again, ready to help you meet your goals, empower you, and help you find yourself again!

A little about me: I’m originally from the suburbs of Atlanta, GA and have lived in Chandler, AZ for 12 years. I’ve been married to my husband, Mike, for 15 years. We have four children who today are ages 14, 12, 11, and 10. I am very active with them in club soccer, flag football, and cheer. I know the daily grind of catering to their needs and driving them all over the place while trying to meet mine with health and nutrition. I am also currently serving my second year as President of Payne Junior High’s Booster Club.

I love meeting people and getting to know them!

I look forward to meeting you and being a place of encouragement for you!

🙂 Heather

Meet Our Childcare Supevisor, Lindsay Huntington 🙂

I am a former elementary school teacher from the Gilbert School District and teaching children and struggling readers has always been my passion. I am originally from Minnesota and moved to Arizona in 1999. I graduated from ASU with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and later a Master’s degree in Special Education with a reading endorsement from Northern Arizona University. Today, I currently own and operate Reading Pro, in Gilbert! I entered into the field of dyslexia because a few of my relatives were diagnosed when they were young including my young daughter, Tatum.

After teaching in the Gilbert District, I took some time off to raise my son, Tanner and my daughter, Tatum. I was really struggling to get the baby weight off and was excited to find a fitness program outdoors that also provided childcare! I met Andrea and “the Babes” and my exciting Boot Camp Babes fitness chapter had begun.  I loved the positive, women only, female empowerment team that Andrea had created.

With my education background, Andrea sought me out and asked me to lead the childcare at BCB. I was honored and had such a great time building friendships with other moms and their children. Boot Camp Babes motivated me to accomplish things I never thought I could do! Like run a half marathon, and complete the Ragnar Relay with a bunch of other Boot Camp Babes. Not only did boot camp help me reach my goal weight, but I felt strong both physically and mentally, all while taking the journey with my newfound girlfriends. Andrea is an enthusiastic leader and amazing entrepreneur who has formed a strong female network of women both personally and professionally.

I am more than thrilled to be leading the childcare at Boot Camp Babes once again!  #girlpower #anothernewchapter
